Influencers shared clips from the event helping build the hype whilst it’s being live streamed. Spurring more people to turn up and engage, further spurring on the viral nature.
MrBeast launched his own program to help distribute clips too. And this week CallofDuty has set aside a clipping reward for those that promote clips from the latest game.
What makes clipping better than influencer partnerships? For the creator, it’s simply resharing a clip. There’s no back and forth to create custom content. It’s much lower friction. It’s also a lower ask of the creator, if this fits your audience, help share it.
Social networks reward content that gets shared quickly too. So it boosts social coverage. The low touch also makes it a much easier way to execute a campaign across multiple social networks.
